The EU has had free travel between Schengen signatories for more than 20 years man.
But in the EU we also have national IDs and do not fret one yota about it. There are cameras with facial recon everywhere today. The don't need an ID to follow you everywhere.

GHASH(k||v) does not look all that different from a basic HMAC which does SHA(k||v) so if GHASH is a strong enough hash function it could be fine for low stakes MACing, where you need short term protection. It is a bit surprising though...

It is propaganda, but that's the point of my post. Most people do not share a common definition or understanding of any of these terms because you need to go into nuanced details to distinguish one from another.

They have no idea, however a reminder that Nazism stands for National Socialism, and both Italian Fascism and German Nazism split off the socialist movements of the early 1900. One of the real problems here is that very few people have any *common* understanding of any of these words.
