Well said. The sad thing is that in Scotland the SNP are doing what they can to address poverty, but they are still being vilified, usually by the privileged and the well off.

The current KS spat with AB just shows how thin skinned KS really us. He would put self before party every time. This could spell the end of the Labour Party as we know it. Good thing too. The downside is that it opens the door for RF. The UK needs PR. First past the post sucks.

Years ago I used to do weights circuits in a gym, moving from machine to machine. There was a guy who wouldn’t budge from the machine (whichever he was on) and used to read a book between sets of reps. The arrogance and sense of entitlement was astounding.

Quite. Unfortunately there are people out there with a vested interest in doing the complete opposite. Even successive UK governments. Reduced funding for resources. Crap pay. Teaching by rote instead of being allowed to teach in their own way. Uninspiring head teachers….Depressing isn’t it?
