We need a more radical housing and house building policy that reigns in the housing market. Housing needs to get cheaper, not more expensive. Renting needs to be a more desirable balance than buying.

Very worrying as to what Trump and cronies will do in response. Do not think it is beyond the realms of possibility that they will manufacture a serious issue that will be used to suspend the mid-terms.

Democrats should counter and state that anyone fired by DJT without cause will be offered reinstatement immediately upon the election of a Democrat president. Also, anyone appointed by DJT must accept that their new role will he temporary.

As a teacher, I fully recognise the achievement certificate... indeed, I recognise this school-like assembly.

This is excruciating. Medal and certificate was like something we give out at our school.... embarrassing. Also, keep waiting for ICE to storm the stage and start arresting people lol.

Beyond time that we either have increased regulation of social media to protect children, or we ban social media for them entirely. S/M companies need to be held responsible and forced to protect children from their pernicious products.

I've been banging on about this for years. Pointing out that it is inevitable that as countries like Poland & Romania grow economically, people will return. Bigger hit down the line if/when the Ukraine- Russia war ends. Eastern European workers will shift to rebuilding Ukraines infrastructure.

You'd hope the government would now use the opportunity for a review and root and branch reform of the OBR or scrap it altogether.

As I said.. politicians are all too willing to oblige. I agree that they need to be honest and refuse to answer such questions. All they need to do is explain why anyone committing to such demands should not be taken seriously.

Political media really are a major part of the problem. Always insisting politicians commit to 'tax' guarantees.. e.g. "Will you commit to no rise in income tax?" with no acceptance that events can change fiscal reality dramatically, and unfortunately, politicians are all too willing to oblige.
