Don't do chapeaux anymore but want to keep my friends from the bird site! Asheville NC
Also Mom very thoughtfully packed the huge to go container so I could take it with me. This went on for years.

I always hated green bean casserole and my sister knew this. One year, she told my mom how much I loved green bean casserole so mom made extra and piled my plate with the stuff while my sister laughed her ass off, me cursing her under my breath the entire time.

I actually had to sing it at a wedding. We skipped the verse about rooftop bathing etc and changed some other lyrics… wtaf.

We had this book when I was growing up and to my dismay my little sister insisted on it being bedtime reading when my crush was babysitting her. Should probably thank her because I bet he learned something

Actually I’m wrong I think that’s a polyester crinoline. Sinamay is made from straw and is more like a fine weave straw fabric. Synthetic crinolines replaced horsehair as manufacturers got up to speed with new materials

That’s called sinamay, comes in all the colors and textures. This one is striped but you knew that already!

It’s a fascinator I think, wouldn’t be allowed in the Royal Enclosure at Ascot but fine any other section. There’s now a new category called a hatinator, allowed with a minimum base diameter of 4 inches / 10cm.
