Visited one of my projects today - the entrance gate design, and entrance climate-adapted garden at UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden. This is the first project to be fully-installed during my time at Studio-MLA 💚 UCLA is where I received my Landscape Architecture degree, it was indeed. Special project

I saw Anora and The Substance, and I enjoyed both movies. However, I find it sinister that the top contenders for best actress both played women using their bodies to be successful. A prostitute. A desperate actress. I'm not demeaning sex work, but Anora ends with her utterly defeated. Depressing.

Youth At Work = hands on vocational experience for high school students. Test Plot = grassroots gardens planted to unite community, biodiversity and promote climate adaptive planting. Studio-MLA = a buncha plant nerds (+ landscape architects) like me!
