Oldest daughter moves to Italy for the first half of her year abroad from September. We saw Kae Tempest at Rough Trade in Nottingham last week and now I have the perfect reason to see them again! Padua to Bologna by train is, I recall, doable!

Youngest daughter started her GCSEs yesterday and we were discussing what songs to play to soundtrack the exam period. I recall listening to ‘What Ever Happened To Pong’ by Frank Black on my walkman before each of my A-Levels in 1994. Hopefully she’ll choose a suitably upbeat number!

Youngest daughter is so organised that she has colour coded the GCSE revision flashcards that she has made for each subject. Her exam timetable was released today so I made a colour coded table to compliment her flashcards (am a lawyer - I don’t do spreadsheets!). She’ll wow ‘em, I’m sure!
