At this point, who cares about the Senate's "nuclear option"? The people should have a "nuclear option" that allows them to immediately recall every member of Congress for failing to do their most basic duty to keep the government open.

Correct me if I'm wrong but since insurers have already increased health insurance premiums in anticipation of younger and healthier individuals dropping their coverage, it's inevitable that people will see premiums skyrocket even if Congress eventually extends the subsidies.

If we can afford to send a $40 billion bailout to a country most people would struggle to find on a map, I'm sure we can afford $100 billion to feed 16 million disadvantaged children.
