I get the core idea, that we've lost those "water cooler" moments as audiences are spread thinly. That said, the diversity of music/media available now means more connections across cultures, which is a wonderful thing.

And the notion they have no real power is absurd. With their wealth comes significant power, disguised through smoke, mirrors and compliant politicians/journalists.

Saw Sleeper in Manchester this week. I'm intrigued, what local song did they play during Atomic? We all sang along to Love Will Tear Us Apart - belted it out. Phenomenal.
