I really like that era of Sonic. The gba sprites of modern sonic, fan made flash games using those sprites, Sonic X anime, vibrant colour in Heroes. I love the 2D anime-influence a lot. Very sad that they kinda moved away from that kind of anime style and also the shonen energy.
