Ha, dammit! When Kaleidoscope did that book cataloguing all his tapes, I think the Thicke episode was the first thing I looked for!

If that is true (which I doubt!), there was a Wilson family on 14th May 1982. If they went down the Russ Abbot route, there were Robinsons on 26th of March 1982 - both survive on Bob's tapes.

It's got a bit of the feel of the jingles Pepper Tanner produced for Radio 1 in the early 70s, some of those had a similar paid-by-the-note bass player - I love this anyway, and need to find one!

Hears a bit of library music on an advert for vitamin supplements for elderly people: 'Wow, that's going on the next album!'

The episode in series 2 where Ralph goes back to the village where he was evacuated during the war and finds out he's still utterly reviled there - the darkest story for a sitcom I've ever seen

It's a classic! May I also recommend this one with Malcolm Brown becoming quite maudlin after a late-night airing of 'Where's Jack?' Malcolm Brown was my favourite announcer when I was a kid!

I like this one, because at 7'24" they accidentally put up Tom Edwards' (RIP) camera again and he's clearly desperate to hit the bricks (probably on his way to his club in Berwick Street where there was a g&t with his name on it)

Were they casualties of the 1993 wipings? My head is telling me they were! Most Call My Bluffs up to January 1974 are gone - the surviving 1960s one with Robin Ray in the chair instead of Robert Robinson is weird.

My brother already has - I don't think he's sold many, for some reason...

Oh, and the single was produced by Roger Whittaker's production company and I still want to know how that happened

Unbelievable! Still, more for the rest of us - I have a promo copy, which is probably more common than the stock version, in fairness
