I mean yes this is funny, but the fact that these unconstitutional stormtroopers are so directionless that they literally stand around waiting for random nonwhite delivery guys to bike past them is just pathetic. No mandate, no mission, no clue. Just racism.

ICE attempted
and failed to disappear a food delivery guy.
It needed to be scored.

This year we've been really swinging for the fences.

Our latest video is our biggest one yet, nearly an hour long and involving half a dozen experts.

Asking "Should lying about climate change be illegal?" and, if so, how do we make it so?

I should say that as methaneSAT has sadly been lost, they've re-recorded the voiceover with a North American voice - which has the upside of not needing to listen to me this time!

I'm looking for a part-time research assistant to help research and fact-check long form YouTube videos, with an emphasis on climate misinformation campaigns.

If you or someone you know would be a good fit, please check out this form! Applications close on 26/9.

That's from the BBC's coverage, I've not cared enough to look at multiple sources. Wouldn't be at all surprised if it was off, I know crowd counting is an inexact science

Getting angry at these people is like getting angry at your Sim.

It's not their fault that they have collapsed in a puddle of tears instead of making dinner. You have to look at the factors that led them to do that.

And fix them.

It's the same with climate skeptics. The people posting illiterate comments online are not the people that you should be angry at. The people you should be angry at are those manipulating illiterate people into acting this way, and of course the people paying them to do that.
simonoxfphys.com
But getting angry at these people is not the way that we get out of the political dichotomy the country is falling into. You have to look at the underlying issues and why these people feel this way and why they are choosing to make their feelings known in this manner.

For transparency, I should say that this wasn't my first reaction to this rally. My first reaction was one of anger. Especially at comments online like "this is the safest London has been in years" and "the government are lying to you, there's clearly 8x that number there".

Finding the EDL rally in London heartbreaking.

150,000 people - and many more online - who clearly care deeply about their country and want to do what they see as the right thing.

Having their illiteracies exploited by shameless grifters promising simple solutions to complex problems.

It's tragic

Woooooo!! Congratulations Dr!
