"Trump manipulated the market for the benefit of his friends". There, I fixed the headline for you.

So many double negatives

$20 a month and they go away. And you get to support independent journalism at the same time!

Did he say "ok"? Certainly not in that clip. That is Aussie Jonathan Swan who famously interviewed Trump last time around

Seems pretty popular

I should add that I am a Brit in Australia where both places operate under the Westminster system
February 14, 2025 at 4:23 AM

He doesn't care now he's in. Under the Westminster system he could be ejected at any time if there was enough to oppose but add in the immunity ruling you're stuck with a King for 4 years whilst he runs his party into the ground. Your whole system is broken in so many ways. From a Brit in Australia

@australia.theguardian.com you can call Australia Day Invasion Day, but you can't call out Musk for a Nazi Salute. Words like "appears" and "interpreted" dance around the reality of what we all saw
January 26, 2025 at 2:15 AM
We know what we saw, stop dancing around the Nazi salute with words like "appears" and "interpreted". Call him out and others like him @australia.theguardian.com
January 26, 2025 at 2:12 AM
Can @australia.theguardian.com stop saying "appears" and "interpreted" about Elon Musk's Nazi solute! We saw what we saw and he hasn't attempted to deny or explain it.

That unelected officials can be given roles in government blows my mind
January 25, 2025 at 5:56 AM
He is the last person I would want negotiating on my behalf
January 25, 2025 at 12:25 AM
He hasn't attempted to defend it. It's a Nazi salute, as he intended
January 22, 2025 at 7:30 AM
Has he attempted to explain it?
