Sad he didn’t get a bit more time, he was missing most of his key players for pretty much the entire run… when things were good & we had a full strength squad we were beating top 6 teams

To be fair it’s just the away games that are letting them down, they’re still unbeaten at home this season & got some pretty impressive wins… 2 home games coming up, maybe they will turn it around for us

Haha, that’s true. I can definitely believe he doesn’t clean his dentures!.. I think more likely that it’s the bad audio on this occasion & I’ve heard the same thing happen before. But if he does it anywhere other than Twitter live then I’ll come straight back here, correct myself & point and laugh

Understood, no trouble. You probably used better equipment, better mic placement, better quality audio etc etc.
This is likely just very compressed audio, but I also wondered if maybe his suit was in the way of the mic (removing the high frequencies of the ‘S’ sound)? Hilarious either way

I believe you! But unless he was putting them in for some words and takes them out for others it can’t be dentures causing the on/off lisp on the interview

Yeah it’s either a compression thing or there’s some sort of filter/de-esser, some of his ‘Ss’ sound absolutely fine and some get squashed. Hilarious to see that #dentures is trending on Twitter though 😅. Not a great month for his campaign so far

It’s 100% an audio tech issue rather than a real life speech issue. Doesn’t make it any less hilarious to listen to though.

I hate Trump & everything he stands for, but in all fairness the lisp is an audio tech problem rather than a speech problem
