That's a philosophical problem. We'd need to first agree on what human consciousness is. And, in the case of ants - collective conciseness. Which in a sense, is in part, what our conciseness is - collectives of self organising neurones.

Definitely inspect the engineering on the dry dock. It survived the big earthquakes with out issue.

Then there is the remnants of the marina which fell to bits catastrophically in a storm. I had a large boat tired up to one of the remaining concrete piles which I almost lost during a tsunami.

I do a bit of old fashioned oil painting. I prefer it to acrylic because each colour has its own unique pigments and relationships with there binders. Some transparent others opaque. Some dry fast some slow. Acrylic lacks that mechanical constraint. It’s primary-secondary-tertiary, to infinity.
