CHAOS IN THE OLD WORLD
I think this was my intro to "big" boardgames. Definitely the first one I owned. 4 (or 5) players attempt to destroy the warhammer world and rule over the ashes. Its fun to be the hammy villain.

Magic the Gathering
Yeah, I'm actually not even too sure what to write. I really like this silly card game and getting to hang out with strangers with a shared interest. There's something special about having that common language with people you'll know for an hour and never meet again.

I FUCKIN LOVE ASYMETRICAL GAMEPLAY. Four players, all with completely different ways of playing the same game. I genuinely love sitting down and not knowing how someone else's gameplan will interact with the way my faction plays. Really charming art style too

Doing Board Games in August. Really captures that summer feeling.
WINGSPAN. In wingspan you score points based on how birds you get on your board, building an engine to get eggs, cards, and food. It's competitive without being difficult and antagonistic. Lovely art, and it's on Steam too!

UMAMUSUME. I jumped on the bandwagon and I don't know how I got so emotionally invested in these dang anime horses. The writing is fantastic.
Anyway, this is Vodka. She makes motorcycle noises when she runs and drinks tea from a hipflask. 5/7 perfect character, no notes, would adopt.

Wildflowers are fucking cool. Bees are fucking cool. Cutting the grass is a pain.
Don't mow your lawn. Let the flowers and grasses grow. It helps pollinators, attracts other wildlife and looks much nicer than a cut lawn.

HIDDEN STREETS NORWICH
Underneath Norwich you'll find the remains of a medieval city, built in the old castle defences this street is now covered by modern buildings, but you can still go down and see some parts of it with Shoebox Enterprises. Really good tour, and nice to be out of the sun

Okay, the library isn't really part of hell, so it's not that bad. Quite cosy actually. But if there's an afterlife for Readers that's an infinite library of every story humanity has and hasn't told, I hope they accept lapsed followers of the way as well.

ELDER SCROLLS 4: OBLIVION REMASTER
You saw this coming.
I didn't think I was nostalgic for ES4. Then I started walking around the edge of the Imperial City. The light hit just hit, the music played and I just had a rush of good vibes. It's a stunning world to inhabit.

THE SEVEN DEATHS OF EVELYN HARDCASTLE
SDoEH is a timeloop murder mystery where the detective hops between bodies in each loop.But if he can't solve it by the end of loop 8, everything resets and he has to start from nothing. It's a roguelike murder mystery and it's utter genius.

I like subtle, cosy horror. To be comfortably uncomfortable. DREDGE is this exactly. You are a fisher, and the NPCs need fish. But the seas of DREDGE are strange and no place to be after dark. Still, it'll be okay when you get back to port, right?

WORM, a webnovel about a young superhero who can control bugs. Worm gets damn dark at times, but between inventive powers, clever applications and awesome fights against multiple godzillas, there's plenty of great shit in this book.

Look at this neat church. Unfortunately I don't know too much about it, but the black and white timber stuck to the side of the stone half is really cool.
Found it completely by accident over the summer after taking a wrong turn. There's a metaphor here somewhere.
