One of my favorite winter activities is driving up Mt Hood to the Timberline Lodge (AKA The Shining Hotel) and getting a hot chocolate when the snow is like 8 feet deep. Its just... such a good vibe.

Wow. Google not only has me listed as the programmer and lead developer on the Symphony of the Night randomizer (not true), but THEN goes as far as to claim that I described myself as such on my YouTube channel (also not true)

There are few games I feel truly NEED a remake, but this is definitely one of them. I've been replaying it, and its still great, but just imagine a version where the camera wasn't SUPER zoomed in or out. A version that didn't have a loading screen for every transition or opening the menu.

Last year I started the first Trails game. Once I reached the ending, I immediately bought and played the sequel. I then played every game in the series, all 13 games.
Today I beat the remake of the first game, and its just as good (if a bit easier) than the original. Such an awesome series, man.

Oh look, a battle system that can seamlessly transition from active to turn based, where positioning matters, strategy still exists, and isn't just "press 4 buttons and wait for cooldowns until you win."

I'm in no way a graphics snob, but like... there is no reason why modern Pokemon games can't look as good as Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter.
I'm enjoying Z-A for what it is, but, you're kidding yourself if you don't think it looks ridiculously bland. Hell, Legends Arceus had more life in it.

Some more pics from the con. Fun fact: I got THE ONLY LOOSE COPY OF QUEST 64 in the entire expo. I found ONE boxed copy as well but it was wayyyyy overpriced.
Also found a physical version of a game I worked on in the wild, so that was cool.

A week and a half ago, Rainie started randomly limping. No clue why. Vet is unsure. She's supposed to take it easy (Trazadone and rest) but she gets super zoomies when she comes out of it. She doesn't yelp, always wants to play, but still favors it.

I tried to lookup gameplay. When I skipped around the video I either saw nothing but grey fog and BLOOM or the same Terminator Skull loading screen.

I'm probably a bit biased, because I worked on this game, but I really do think that WORLD OF HORROR is something special that everyone with even a mild interest in horror or Junji Ito should play.
