Wonderful news today that I have become a great Aunt again.
Mum was booked in for a Caesarian for Monday but baby arrived naturally just before Grandma's 70th this weekend so that's lovely.

Phew! I've been assured that my new furniture will be delivered as expected so I feel better about that now.
I do still have my old table and chairs in storage "just in case" although my dresser went at the weekend.

I contacted the furniture company yesterday to see whether it's likely that I'll actually get my furniture that I ordered a month ago before Christmas.
I'll give them until Monday and then I'll ring them. I've got tomorrow to decide whether to cancel and go elsewhere.

DS is now a cat dad. The transatlantic journey only upset said cat a bit but hopefully he'll settle within a few days.

I've not done any sewing for a while and I've never done the thing of shortening jeans and putting the original hems back on so I'm quite pleased with how it worked out. And only a few swear words!
