Once you fully accept that someone else is a human being in exactly the way and to exactly the degree that you are, there are a whole set of things you literally can no longer do to them. I mean that, our brains don’t allow us to. It becomes emotionally and mentally unbearable

I'll give you the short version: they sponsored & supported the most influential AIDS denialist group of the 2000's, resulting in national policies in South Africa that caused an estimated 330,000 deaths there.
