I don't think Tom Cruise is a very good actor but he's a great movie star. That's why he works in Eyes Wide Shut and not in Magnolia (imo).

You can be a good actor without being able to do Long Day's Journey into Night six times a week, but it's a different skillset.

I'm generally not a fan of non-theatrically trained/amateur actors because those qualities require training and craft introspection.

Projection of interiority. If I can see the inner life of the character on their face/body language. That's what speaks to me, anyhow.

Maybe because i had the in of Toni Storm, so i'm invested already, but i care a lot more qbout the AEW women than the men. I know Moxley and MJF are great, but not having a personal connection.
