New hot takes for #gohabsgo!
1. We should move Reinbacher for a 2C. Reinbacher's ceiling is prime Dobson, and seeing as we already have a Dobson, the choice is a lot easier to make.
2. A.Xhekaj needs to move to the 4th line to stay in the Habs lineup. He's unable to take that next step as a D ->

Banging my drum again about acquiring a skillful puck retrieving power forward for the 1st line and a smooth skating DFD. Ideally Texier plays like he is on the 3rd line as well.

Banging my drum again about acquiring a skillful puck retrieving power forward for the 1st line and a smooth skating DFD. Ideally Texier plays like he is on the 3rd line as well.
Braden Scheider would complement Hutson very well.

I'd like to see the PWHL point system. Teams would get 3 pts for a regulation win, 2 pts for an OT/Shootout win, and 1 loser pt. But I agree that OT should be extended to 10 minutes.

Loved the natural connection we saw last night between Slafkovský and Demidov. Slaf looked a lot more natural driving play than being complimentary to the 1st line. Maybe the solution is trading for a facilitator winger who wins board battles? Alex Tuch maybe?

Seems like Justin Barron only every plays well when paired with Matheson. The two should be paired permanently to raise Barron's stock to sell down the line eventually. I like Barron. He's a good skater, powerful strides and a great shot, but that hockey IQ is ugh

If someone in practice ever puts a skate in either net on the ice, I guarantee you'll condition Matheson into burying those pucks. Holy cow does he love passing and shooting pucks in his teammates' skates.
