Thank you! Carving a new animal always helps the creative flow and I think everything I carve is a little funny no matter how many I've done.

It is. Bells have been a special interest of mine from childhood, (metal ones) so emulating and adjusting for shrinkage. I think getting one that rings on the first round was miraculous really 😂

Yes, they are

They rattle instead of ringing, so paper isn't the answer. I believe I need to cut the gap a little wider to allow it to vibrate with a ring

I just place a leather hard ball inside the bell, no paper

The ones that rattle don't have a good gap, where as the one that rings does. I'm just assuming at this point that that's the issue

Thank you, but it's a different issue. The others rattle instead of ringing 😂 So we're going to do some grinding and see if that changes it.

I hate not being able to go into the studio to do my own glazing, but I'm grateful to be able to do as much as I can at home and have friends/family to bring my vision to life.
