I have a stack of about sixty ready to go in the post. We’ve lost a lot of family over the last few years so I cherish being able to send them to those we still have, especially older relatives abroad who I know love to get a card from Ireland.

Men of Destiny by Jack B. Yeats. I saw it first when I was on a school tour in the National Gallery in Dublin when I was 16 and it has kept me under its spell since. I’ve been back to see it many times since.

No mention of thunder or lightening when I called home 💚💛 but there was a power outage for a couple of hours. Maybe this was the cause.

Yeah I have to say I am now conditioned not to comment due to the negativity from that other place. Need to get back in the water.

Great to have such happy memories (which you often share with us) to see you through the hard times. Thinking of you. We definitely have to live every moment.
