I get a little thrill of excitement when I see the exact same sentences I've said in class mirrored back at me in students work. Feels like I'm actually teaching them!

It's an indication of how stressful and exhausting this time of year is for teachers that I have switched from tea to coffee for my usual morning drink

Teaching English in an Irish medium school for a year and a bit and they all assume I am incapable of speaking Irish. Today one of them complimented me on how much Irish has improved!
