My first cake! This was a Frozen Mocha Cake with Chocolate Ganache Glaze, a recipe from epicurious.com. It took me a long time to apply the ganache evenly across the entire cake. So much respect for pastry chefs out there.

Since I was so proud of myself on the cookies, I followed up with Milk Chocolate-Caramel Tart with Hazelnuts and Espresso. The odd-shaped baking pan was hard to find. Not to mention the money going into more baking tools later on.
