While there is plenty of evidence to support this, the easiest way is just talking. There are plenty of people who seem perfectly healthy but will then decry vaccines as a hoax or conspiracy. And then ruin their kids' lives when they don't vaccinate them.

Idk, it was pretty clearly signposted this time around, they just pretended it was "fake news"

Wait, didn't Disney already get the rights to use James Earl Jones's voice in perpetuity? So assuming this was done in cooperation with Disney, this is technically completely legal...

Imagine accusing a show that premiered in 1969 targeted at underserved, impoverished kids of being a fascist psy-op. "Some day we'll find it, the Rainbow Connection..."

I'm glad to see Pollan is still continuing his excellent work in the field of psychedelics! "How To Change Your Mind" was a fascinating read.

My friend, I have played so much Halo PVP it isn't even funny. Nothing about Marathon's gameplay gives Halo vibes.

There's French, the opening in Lumiere has Italian, there's at least one song with English, there are Latin madrigals... It's a trip

Let's put it this way: BG3 is to CRPGs what Clair Obscur is to JRPGs. That is: a masterpiece.

If anyone is on the fence, it is seriously worth a Game Pass subscription just to play. (I bought it outright after a few hours.) This better sweep TGA istg

I mean, is it really a spoiler? If you aren't anticipating the film enough to care about watching all the trailers and all you know is "Black Vampire Movie," then this just confirms that. Doesn't spoil much if you don't know the characters.

Part of the magic of what makes "Sinners" the best movie of the year so far. The film simultaneously balances up-front fun and thrills with deeper themes and subplots for those who care to watch for them. Appeals to both the casual and thoughtful audiences.

And it deserves every. Single. Word of praise it's getting

The mime fights are SENDING me. So fun as a way to get optional unlocks, and oh so very French.

That's exactly the fear they want to use against us, the people. We already know there are plenty in the military who strongly dislike the current administration, and despite my own reservations I like to think that the US military would take issue with firing on US citizens.

Ah yes, because it's easy to save thousands of dollars while finishing high school. And most students definitely pay themselves for education. Deeeeefinitely.
If you can read a graph, then you know "inexpensive colleges" don't exist in the US.

Man, I could write so much on how music streaming and short-form content have destroyed the art of album creation. Hell, half the songs on TikTok are barely full songs.
April 17, 2025 at 2:33 PM
Aye, there's the rub. Luckily, I know Tidal has ways you can transfer your playlists over if you feel like giving it a try. I personally use YouTube Music since it comes with Premium, but there are lots of options!

Curious as to what part of Spotify specifically has you sticking around?
April 17, 2025 at 2:30 PM
I've found YouTube's algorithms for content and playlists on the music front are vastly superior. You can essentially tune how much new vs familiar music you want, or use user-uploaded content to replace things that aren't officially on the service.
April 17, 2025 at 2:28 PM
Same here. Switched to YouTube Music because not only can you view direct uploads from users, but their higher-ups haven't made incredibly derogatory comments and business decisions about the content and creators their platform exists to promote. Could be better, but it's better than Spotify.
