I think this doesn't happen anymore because the left has no real leaders. There's no one to line up behind.

Local leaderless power gets undercut by the fact that large parts of the population live in a way where community contact is minimized. It's in many ways an infrastructure problem

The primary question is whether the majority of the fuck up will be on purpose or by accident imo. Trump can be reliably counted on to choose evil solutions and then implement them really poorly and half-assed

I have no idea what will happen next but I can tell you that whatever it is, it will be half-assed

I wouldn't put much stock in this, he flip flops too much.

Trump thinks leaders rule countries entirely on their own, it's part of why he hasn't staffed most of the open govt positions. He thinks that by capturing Maduro, he has now instantly won, and whatever he dreams up will automatically happen

The amount of evil in the world is increasing, but so is the amount of delicious bread in my kitchen. Hopefully these are not correlated

And even if we give in, what then? The next demand will be "give us the Baltics or we end the world". Then, "give us Poland," then...

Letting them get what they want shows them that war and genocide is a good idea, and we should never set that precedent

The fact remains also that every time Russia has drawn a "red line" it's been a bluff. If you want to prevent nuclear conflict, showing Russia that threats are not profitable is paramount.

Therefore the conclusion is clear. Arm Ukraine until it is an impenetrable fortress.

Much hay has been made abt Russia's nuclear stockpile, but a lot of it is misguided. Nukes turn a war you can't win into a war nobody can win. They don't instantly grant you victory. Hence, we should not let their nuclear sabre rattling fly, nor be intimidated by it

Ideally meeting another player who really enjoys the game should never be a negative experience
December 3, 2025 at 3:57 PM
In PvE or large-team PvP, meeting someone who really loves the game is fun. You learn things and you work together with your teammates to solve hard problems. In small-team PvP, meeting a good player sucks because they stomp you with no contest, or stomp the other team and you never see anyone

USians has the problem of being designed for Twitter character limits, so it's difficult to say out loud and doesn't really conform to the rest of English grammar. It's indicative of a speaker that spends a lot of time arguing geopolitics on the internet rather than in real life.

Staters is better
