Wireless streaming is probably going to have noticeable display lag vs the control inputs - I tried streaming ScummVM from my phone to the TV a few months back and it was awful (playing EoB). I think if I wanted to play retro on the TV I’d probably do it on a Raspberry Pi with a wireless controller.

Did you DIY the upgrade or just buy a completed one? Couldn’t see the upgrade steps on the site, assume it’s a “scoop innards out and replace” approach rather than an “Build your own ZX81” affair?

Ahh - my offspring sporadically drags me into town, and I prefer coffee to the boba place she always makes a beeline for 😅

Is it pricier than the one in town?
I’ve only ever used hospital Costa when it’s been a situation where the price of coffee wasn’t high on the list in the moment (I suspect this is one of the reasons it’s probably pricier!).

Possibly no help to you, but my own self-help (when holidaying in the UK) is to remind myself that almost anything crucial I may forget can be acquired at, or near the destination.

Having had them nest in a bush outside my kitchen window a few times, I can confirm they exist and are frankly quite fugly. They also have a superpower to transform from hell beast to small adult overnight.
