Why did I ever let myself be talked into doing stand up comedy?

I really am a little lost on Bluesky, but as soon as it gets the one feature I'm waiting for, I know I and so many others are ditching Musk's dystopian Hellscape for good. Truthfully, I like Mastodon better, but it doesn't seem to be getting the group chat feature any time soon.

@drjimcl12.bsky.social Here's something the Purple Revolution people can do if they live in a really rural area. I'm sure there are many other similar causes as well.

If you're not in a position where you can directly intervene, causes like this can help. There's also a charity that is collecting money to buy inflatable costumes for protesters in Portland.

Memphis is under fed occupation. People with no criminal record are being pulled from their homes and vehicles.

I’ve contributed. 142 families are actively being fed.

💛 INDIVISIBLE MEMPHIS WEEKLY UPDATE — SHARED BY INDIVISIBLE TENNESSEE 💛

Our Memphis chapter has been working around the clock to respond to the humanitarian crisis unfolding in their city. What began as a small act of neighbor-to-neighbor care has grown into The Collective Good Immigrant Pantry, which now supports dozens of families every single week.

Before the occupation began, the pantry averaged 8.3 deliveries per week.
This week, they made 29 deliveries — feeding 142 people.

Among those served was a mother who recently completed cancer treatment after her husband was taken by the federal task force. Others are relatives who have taken in children—U.S. citizens—whose parents have been detained. These are not isolated stories. This is daily life in Memphis right now.

And yet, through the fear, the community continues to show what solidarity looks like. Families share photos of home-cooked meals made possible because strangers cared enough to act. This is people power in its purest form.

Don't debate right-wingers. Mock them.

I love how the residents of Portland are matching the seriousness of the Trump regime with extreme precision. They've shot a little above it with the frog costumes.

I think RFK Jr is spinning a wheel to find the cause for autism, and he's trying to find one people will buy rather than admit his extreme incompetence.

New video up on Clapper. The one thing I've never managed as an autistic person

Okay, I have a question, exactly how much tylenol do I have toi take to develop an interest in trains?
sinisterporpoise.bsky.social
Hey now, it makes perfect sense that cutting off a boy's foreskin would cause autism in girls.

The captain of the USS Excelsior and excellent swordsman who rivals Inigo Montoya, is a much smarter man than I am, but we should all understand this.

I understand this. Please tell me you do, too.

Remember, Spooky Mormon Hell dreams are the creation of Trey Stone and Matt Parker for the most part, although they are loosely based on a story in Alma in the Book of Mormon. I still recommend the musical the Book of Mormon over the actual book though. As would anyone who has consumed both.

Portland sure seems to burn entirely to the ground pretty often

And for the love of God, mock Trump and his stupid followers every day. They aren't smart enough to know you're making fun of them anyway..

I think most people on Bluesky know that people who belong to minoritized groups -- women, black people, Latinos, LGBTQ, and the disabled are scared right now. But Taco is a weak-willed authoritarians who wants to project the image of fear. Stand up to him. Show the schoolyard bully his weaknesses.

Either you're against fascism, or you're foolish enough to believe it won't come for you.

I think the reason Taco Trump is ramping up is because he knows he has enough time, or at least his followers do. They have enough political acumen to know MAGA movement and the perceived power of Trump collapses when Trump dies. No one else has the force of personality.
