I know a neurodivergent chef who makes the most insane food I have ever tasted. They cannot work at the moment. We miss out on the good stuff, the innovation, if we squash people.

If government and the health care sector do not address neurodivergence adequately, it will be the emergency services who initially bear the brunt of it, it will be wider society that suffers, and we will all be emotionally and financially poorer for it.

I'd like to know how many suicides he's personally had to deal with. The neurodivergent community are more familiar than most with that horrendous end point.
Shifting the blame, callously invalidating the argument, and ignoring the problem (historic female underdiagnosis) has a knock-on effect.

If Streeting speaks from "personal experience" I'd like to know how, for example, that experience relates to neurodiverse, perimenopausal mothers who are now, also disproportionately, because of their gender, absorbing the social obligation of looking after ageing parents whilst still working?
