Passion-fairness & compassion, state pension reform, preparing for a world altered by climate change, waking people up to the destruction of public services by the party of cons & the cost of that destruction to our society.
Love-Rock, Books, Animals, Food
Another example of huge & unnecessary force in the US.
This approach is not going to end well for American democracy.

No Settlements!

Needs to be the rally cry for every press outlet, university, business, law firm, nonprofit, and other entity that is targeted by the regime. Settlements sell us all out.

He feels threatened-it’s why so many news orgs are banned from his media briefings. Interesting response to hold the entire country (Australia in this case) to account for one person’s ‘challenging’ question.
He is the biggest loser in USA - I still cannot fathom how they made a man like him pres🤷‍♀️

What utter dickheads we are…

Rayner fought for workers: sick pay, maternity rights, protection from unfair dismissal

Farage and his MPs voted it down

Rayner gets binned over £40k in stamp duty

Farage dodges £44k, shrugs & strolls on

The mega wealthy win again.

This is a huge warning sign.

Trump thinks he can make up his own facts. That’s why he fired the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Now he’s telling us to wait a year for the “real numbers”?

His policies are tanking the economy. And no amount of mathematical gymnastics will change that.
Trump gets abysmal jobs figures after firing BLS chief
Weak figures and revisions included in last month's report led to Trump firing the commissioner of the agency.

America - I think you need to force another election. Your pres, Kennedy & Vance seem unhinged. Certainly not ‘elder statesmen’ of the free world. The world is supposed to look up to them because of the integrity they ought to have - they appear to have none.
This is an actual exchange from a VP who took an oath to defend the constitution and, as a citizen, is expected to abide by the law.

May we one day have accountability for the grotesque lawlessness of this regime.

Tinkering won’t fix a broken system. We need tax justice, public ownership and a real say for people over their lives and communities.

Empowering communities: pushing power down is how we deliver prosperity

Green leader Zack Polanski calls for Farage’s resignation over tax, on BBC Any Questions:

"Farage has changed his personal business to make sure he could avoid tax for his appearances on GBNews. That’s perfectly legal, but is that in the Nolan Principles? Absolutely not. [He should] step down too.”

How England's water went to shit.

Ideology of privatisation.
Monopolies privatized.
Political system bought by corporations.
Profiteering by corporations.
Ineffective regulation.
No one listens to the people.

Don't believe private is the best.

Govt still resisting public ownership.
How our water went to shit
Privatisation was meant to revitalise a public good. Instead, it left us with leaky pipes, sewage spills and rivers not fit to swim in

Companies secretly blacklisted trade unionists.

Taming corporations is the key issue of our times
To appease corporations, people may raze mountains, divert rivers, clear forests, cover countryside in tarmac and shower subsidies upon them, but they have no loyalty to any place, people or product.
