17. La Cucaracha (2007)
This is a good album but you can sorta tell they didn't want to do any more. I like Blue Balloon the weird trumpet synth is kinda awesome. With My Own Bare Hands makes me giggle and Your Party was very good. I also liked Fiesta and Woman And Man. Errmmmmm.... Tier list?? 4/7

16. The Friends EP (2007)
This one is odd, I only really liked half the songs which isn't really good when there's only 5 of them. For whatever reason my favourite is I Got To Put The Hammer Down???? I only got La Cucaracha left out of Ween I heard it's the worst one, which is worrying, anywho. 3/7

15. Pure Guava (1992)
I listened to the other two brown albums before starting this thread so: The Pod<GodWeenSatan<Pure Guava. This one just has the best range of making me giggle at points and having some genuinely good music on there it's kinda epic, I really like This Goin' Get... 5/7

14. 20/20 (1969)*
This one is very disjointed, the track listing is all over the place but I really fw it here for some reason, it is just so strange. This reddit post gets my point across better than I could. 5/7

13. Macabre Plaza (2018 - 2024)
@b0zzy0.bsky.social told me to listen to this and it was peak, very chill and nostalgic. I fw that. I'm putting the entire discography here cause there isn't enough to do it seperate. It was just a great vibe all the way through, made me happy with the sunset. 6/7

12. That's Why God Made The Radio (2012)
I'd have listened to the dogshit if they weren't too embarassed to put them on spotify. I thought this album was good but it sounded more like brian solo (joe thomas slop) at parts rather than actual beach boys, life suite was peak tho. 5/7

11. Quebec (2003)*
It was peak on the first listen and continues to be peak on like the third or fourth?? I love like all of the songs on here from start to finish. no further comment. 7/7

10. The Beach Boys (1985)
Idk what I think of this one, I vibed with it heavy but I can only remember like three tracks. Getcha Back was very nice. I Do Love You was just a Stevie Wonder song (good), Carl nails the vocals on it I will say. Very 80s so I'd need to be in the right mood. 3.5/7

9. Keepin' The Summer Alive (1980)
This one is just kinda dung. I don't like it aside from like a few tracks, Oh Darlin' was nice, Goin' On is the obvious highlight, and oddly the cover of School Day. Santa Ana Winds is just sounds bleak now. Otherwise it was just boring. 2/7

8. Chaos And Creation In The Backyard (2005) *
I felt the need to listen to this one again after that. I really like this one it's probably his best album in his later career. Gonna make @motor-drive.bsky.social listen to this one for the indoctrination process, imagine it's a good gateway. 5/7

7. OK Computer (1997)
I liked this alot, I dunno what much else to say it was just solid all the way through. I obviously liked the ones that everyone likes, very very good. That Romeo + Julliet film Exit Music was made for is stroke inducing in the first minute. 5/7

3.5. IGOR (2019) *
I TOLD YOU I WOULD LISTEN TO IGOR AGAIN AND IT WAS HOLY PEAK I LOVE HOW IT SOUNDS THE LAST THREE TRACKS WERE STILL THE BEST BUT I LIKED THE REST ALOT MORE THIS TIME 6/7

6. 15 Big Ones (1976)
This one just kinda sucks, forgettable. I only remember a few of the 'Big Ones' that being the first three tracks, the closer and Susie Cincinnati (sunflower outtakes my beloved) I also rember the first bit of Back Home cause it just highlights the state of Brian's voice. 2/7

5. L.A. (Light Album) (1979)
Same thoughts as with M.I.U. except even more mid, I liked Good Timin' and the two Dennis songs. 10 minute Here Comes The Night was entertaining for the first minute and then boring for the rest. Not even Shortenin' Bread saved it the adult/child ver. had more sauce 3/7

4. M.I.U. Album (1978)
This album was fine, but I get why Beach Boys fans like to shit on it; like half the songs are kinda mid but theres a handful of songs that are some of the best of theirs post holland? (not counting love you or adult/child) also brian sounds really good for this period. 3.5/7

3. IGOR (2019)
I need to listen to this again, I zoned out for most of it cause it was like 8 am on the bus but I locked in for the last three or so tracks and it was peak. I really really need to do a second listen I can't really rate it, expect to see it again soon... (first tyler album btw) 5?/7

2. Friends (1968) *
I still love this album it's near damn perfect. It's just a vibe, plain and simple. It's still lo-fi but a lot calmer and nicer. I like Busy Doin' Nothin', Brian just directs you to his house it's epic. Transcendental Meditation just ruins the vibe at the end though. 6/7

1. Wild Honey (1967) *
I'm quite a big beach boys fan, this will become evident as the thread goes on.
I listened to this album recently but I listened again as I got it in a vinyl combo pack (the lp it was paired with is next) and I still love its lo-fi production, it just has a cool sound man. 6/7
