Our exciting individual trajectories have meant that we’ve had to rethink how Siren will operate as an organisation in the future: So, Emma Lynne Harley will be continuing the company as Artistic Director, championing Siren’s ethos of genre-defying, rallying theatre platforming under-told stories.

Over the past five years after meeting at the @trontheatre.bsky.social under the guidance of @middlechildhull.bsky.social, we've navigated the shifting sands of Scottish Theatre and created our first, award-winning production at @thegaiety.bsky.social among R&D work.

Imogen Stirling has written, performed, and toured her amazing show Love the Sinner with Vanishing Point, is in a new post at @summerhallarts.bsky.social, and is currently working on an exciting new play with support from @playwrightsstudio.bsky.social

Lauren Mitchell is working on new hilarious historical play “The Executioners” which recently featured at _And Friends, and is developing her own company LAM Theatre with specific interest in applying history to her work as a writer, director, and tour guide.

Lucy Harrower has been storming the London music scene working as an assistant and booking agent with the likes of Peggy Gou, as well as embarking on her own DJing path and touring the world on the festival circuit.

@emmalynneharley.bsky.social is currently on a 5-month theatre-making placement with @companyofwolves.org developing their practice as a maker, performer, and company director. They have been making and directing new work with Sanctuary Queer Arts, Knights Theatre, and Framework Theatre.

Siren was co-founded in 2019 by Emma Lynne Harley, Lucy Harrower, Lauren Mitchell, and Imogen Stirling. We’ll be honest – it’s been a quiet time for Siren as a company recently. But not for our founding members! Among many projects and goings on, here are some of the things we’ve been doing:
