Gutfield can't comprehend that this is a story because people genuinely like Savannah Guthrie because nobody genuinely likes him.

If you get called a racist because you oppose Affirmative Action it loses its meaning when the real racists come.

I liked the state farm ad

Jeez can you take it down a notch?

And I know the history here.

Also, they don't have to pass the legislation. They just need to propose it to show, yet again, that they are serious about solving this. What happened in 2024 is irrelevant now.

And it would be in their best interest to do it again especially now after this ICE fiasco.

Mark my words, in the 2028 election, the Dem candidate will be asked about their position on immigration. A weak response will push folks back to any R that will be tough but not ICE out of control.

Yes. It doesn't need to be in the next 2 weeks. It does need to be before the end of the year though.

If Dems wanted to really score points, they'd put together an immigration bill that strengthened the border, defined legal but limited paths towards legal status, and increased funding and personnel for the adjudication process.

I'm gonna go out on a limb, but there is a point there. However, it's completely undermined by the fact that decades have passed without one abuser facing punishment. This cuts across parties, but there's a grave miscarriage of justice here. Releasing the docs is now probably the least worst option.

For Bears fans too.

It is going to be a tsunami and thank God for it.

But 2028 will be different. Dems can be the party against Republican excesses for now, but they need to define a platform. Much will be determined by the candidate who earns the nomination, but going too far left will be a tremendous mistake.

I mean, doesn't she at least get credit for "scowling void of pure nothingness" as the aesthetic she was aiming for?

There used to be a Hawaiian themed restaurant on Milwaukee Ave in the 70s. Can't remember the name.

Also, Bamboo Bernie's didn't make the cut!

Sir, I know there is a lot of posturing going on right now and it matters some, but the nomination process is going to pull so many surprises that I have a hard time getting too worked up about any candidate as of now.

I'm sorry to hear this. There are bad right leaning publications. Tribune is not one of them. Maybe they wouldn't endorse you, but maybe they would have respected you. That would have been important at least for the right leaning people of the 9th you expect to represent.

There is such a big disconnect between what the market thinks about Adobe and what analysts do.
January 29, 2026 at 4:34 PM
Yep. She didn't. She told protesters to stand down, essentially. She's blaming the victim.

I'm getting so sick of "Anonymous Republican". Put your name to it cowards.

If you care more about your career than American democracy, you don't care about American democracy.

As Scott Galloway asked, "Did the guards at Dachau just need more training?"
January 27, 2026 at 5:21 PM
I heard Scott Galloway say this: "Did the guards at Dachau just need more training?"
January 26, 2026 at 11:19 PM
Yep. Most independents, I think, lean conservative in philosophy but can't align themselves with the the R party because they are off their rocker. A sane, conservative leaning person has no party.

Fucking disgusting. This administration has no shame. These are the worst people and they wallow in their filth.

Anne, I'm 1st Gen in the US and know a lot of my family and Polish 1st Gen friends aligned with Trump. I hope you are you seeing that erode and that they are realizing what he is.

Poles have always supported the US. 5% GDP military investment. It'll never be enough to please Trump.
January 23, 2026 at 5:21 PM
Australia does something like this. They need to because real estate is so expensive there. That's the reason why it would need to be done in the US.

However, I'm not a fan. The problem is the cost of housing caused by lack of inventory. Make it easier to build starter homes & you won't need this.
