Sure, and in my opinion this is a wrong way about achieving this. Also digital products work differently to physical ones. After they are done, your labour is over with minimal upkeep.
It's very similar to capital if you think about it.

Are you an ai chatbot? Or just one of the creators that cannot handle a criticism?
January 30, 2025 at 9:11 PM
How so? Me and my friends like to support creators if they have reasonable prices. Also, we are talking about a small percentage of customers, the vast majority don't have such groups.
Just admit your take is not based on reason, but on some esoteric feeling of superiority to the average customer.

It does bud. You know what, a trick question: when will they earn more - with high price, $150 for which I will chip in with 9 of my friends, or when they make it $50 and half of us buy it separately because price would be much more reasonable?
January 30, 2025 at 6:22 PM
You're just projecting buddy. I don't even want those miniatures, and the only thing I did, was critique their business model.
But hey, if wanting a win-win situation in which they earn more money, and more people get to enjoy their product is wrong, then I accept that label.

Sharing is absolutely piracy, that's literally how torrents work, and you are not buying for $4, you are buying for $150. That's gatekeeping if I've ever seen one, you privileged dumb dumb. Again, you could make the same case for GW prices.
January 30, 2025 at 2:41 PM
Do you know that piracy is mainly a result of prices being too high?
Also, you know that you are gatekeeping underprivileged people from hobby?
January 30, 2025 at 7:00 AM
No it doesn't. The amount of labour doesn't change, and with lower prices you have a much bigger base of customers, so in the end you earn more. It's not that hard.
I'm sure OnePageRules who has 12406 paying members on patreon at least $5 a month doesn't feel underpaid.

Not in a bundle and we are not "against paying artists properly" - we, or at least I, think that those artists would get better money if the bundle was cheaper and more people would purchase it.

That's great news

Digital was $67 (and that's with book, so lets assume $30 for pdf, since physical was $45). With New Antioch bundle for $39, that's $106 (or rather $76) for the whole faction. I also don't know where did you get 38, because RB has 33 minis including every stretch goal.
January 29, 2025 at 5:26 PM
This is $150. One warband pledge in TC was $85 and that's with physical book and miniatures.
GW prices are more reasonable than Red Brigade, and they charge out of their butts.
January 29, 2025 at 4:54 PM
It's not about undervaluing. They are going to sell more, so in the end they earn more, and with digital products it's not like they will run out of copies.
January 29, 2025 at 4:31 PM
If you are buying the files separately then maybe, but as a bundle? Half of that price would still be high. Look at what some creators on patreons are releasing for $10
