That’s precisely why it’s the best one- it proves you as the player don’t have to be a prophesied legendary immortal fuck-off-I’m-the-protag hero to make a difference on the plot (and, more importantly, to have fun).

this is why I’m unenthused about the remaster. They’re just gonna give us some bullshit copy of the better faces mod with the yassified Martin Septim and strip the game of anything that makes it unique. it’s going to be a Skyrim clone with a beige filter and it’s not going to have that janky charm
