Not exactly a novel take, but it's clear that these people voted without any real idea of what they were voting for. They voted along tribal lines.

So I blame the tribe which often punches down on the needy and the oppressed. The tribe which embraced a megalomaniac.

I need to circle back at some point to figure it out. My personal site is served off of GH pages with a "CNAME" file in the repo, which got in the way. I think I tried to access the well-known path too early, got a redirect, and then had the redirect *cached* in the browser. 😵‍💫

Yes, it definitely needs a bit more work! It's an old site and I've been neglecting it.
But I wanted to get the post up before getting on the plane.
