I miss drawing a ton, but life is so much different from what I would’ve expected it to be 3 years ago when I really started to commit to improving my art. I’m happier than I’ve ever been, but it’s strange not being able to fit in the time for a hobby that used to be so important to me.

My posting is going to get very boring as I try and actually do studies for the first time in way too long, but I feel like every time I do this I do one thing better and another thing worse.

I am severely struggling with gesture drawing. If anyone's got tips or resource recommendations for gesture drawing (and also lighting, for that matter) then I'd highly appreciate it! The third picture is not my own, but I liked the style of it and wanted practice with it.

Only four SuperBatober pieces left in my shop after putting them up on Sunday. Perhaps they will go to some happy homes! Or perhaps they will just stay at mine. 🙂
