Understood. The possibility of recalls doesn't stop voters from continuing to make back decisions. In fact, recalls could make that even worse since a lot of people would see a recall as a failsafe.

We the people need to make better choices about who we vote into leadership positions in the first place. The checks and balances would work if voters picked better representative. I'm not convinced that the voters would pick a better POTUS even if we could do recalls.
