Sister Gracy Thombrakudy, a member of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, has worked since 2015 to support migrant workers in Kerala, India. Using her experience from northern India, she helps migrants secure proper documentation, fair wages and spiritual support.

At her core, Sister Murphy was a missionary in spirit. Though she never served abroad, she brought the world to Nazareth by launching a scholarship program for students from Latin America, Asia, and Europe.

Thursday afternoon, SCNs Luke Boiarski and Janet Ballard, along with volunteers, arrived in Jackson, Kentucky with a truckload of supplies for flood victims. Sister Amy Westbrook of Holy Cross Catholic Church, with whom the group connected, expressed deep gratitude for the support.

A team of nine women, led by Sister Luke Boiarski, built a house for a woman named Emelina in Belize after a fire destroyed her home. Honoring Sister Mary Patricia Brennan, they dedicated their labor to faith in action, creating a space of hope, resilience, and community for a woman in need.
