Thank you to everyone that came out to help with the Crab Orchard Brush Pile Event! It helped the attendees gain skills in habitat management by making suitable habitat for fish occupying Crab Orchard using trees. Students were also able to talk to people from IDNR and network.

The IL DNR Crab Orchard Brush Piling Event is this Saturday at 8am! It's a great oppotunity to learn about habitat management and participate in it by making structures for fish to utilize.

Don't miss our gillnet workshop next week! The workshop will take place on Wednesday, March 5th at 3pm in Life Science II, RM 367. It will give attendees an opportunity to learn more about gillnetting as a fishing method and how to repair any tears in the net! Hope to see you all there!
