Finally finished it. Didn't do much of a background for this one, I just wanted him to be stepping out of the dark menacingly.

Update wip 2, finished the rest of the body and painted in a very basic tonfa. Found out that tonfas are very hard to draw, but making it square made it a little easier for me. Just have a few more details to go before I post this as a finished piece- Mainly the snake's wings and a basic background.
The tank top and tonfa are now painted in, still in greyscale. the snake's shading has a reddish tinge. The only things missing are the serpent's wings and a fittingly dark and dingy background.

Update wip, did some work on the snake. I'm attempting to make the underbelly of the front bit look purple-ish, but I might end up re-doing it later.
A serpent is now rendered in partially, its head sitting over the right eye of Malcolm. An eye on the serpent's forehead is open.

An unfinished painting of Malcolm Whithaven. Only the arm and part of the face are filled in in grayscale, the rest is a messy sketch and signature. All of this is placed on a light green background for the time being. The first draft of the original pose for this piece. Malcolm is holding out a zippo lighter with his left arm, slightly hunched over away from the camera. The plan was to have him either look over his shoulder or have his serpent look for him. He was also originally going to be wearing a white button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to above his biceps.

Thanks for the share! I unfortunately don't have much to show but here are my favorites from my current portfolio.
I wouldn't exactly call them finished pieces, but here they are.
My Cain OC, Malcolm Whithaven. His bound sin is coiled about his neck, spreading its wings outward in a threatening manner. A pathfinder OC I made for a oneshot campaign, Cascade. It was my take on a sea krait-inspired gorgon. My starfinder OC, Adam. An unfinished grayscale painting of a celestial character of mine. I took heavy inspiration from biblically accurate angels for Varus. As far as I can remember, this was my first prolonged attempt at digital painting, and my most successful one at that.

Recently did some touch-ups on my Belakor, his paint had scraped off his claws so I repainted them.
(Sorry if the photos are blurry, I have shaky hands.)
