I'm actually quite sad for their change.

I have an F150 Lightning and absolutely love it. Easily the best vehicle I've ever owned.

I adore a good project manager. Worth their weight in whatever precious metal they crave.

So, I asked chatGPT your question.

It's response was:
"Short answer: No — absolutely do NOT microwave a battery."

Just so you know, when many of us say it, it's as a warning so that people will start to think about what changes we should make in our society so that we are not caught flat footed, and, so that the productivity gains are shared by all and not a tiny group. PS, it's AI + Robotics together...

No. A good accountant will help you figure out the best way to spend the money so that you maximize your goals.

Your issue is with the goals that have been chosen.

The frustrating part about all of these kinds of sayings (including the most famous one) is that this should not be the reason you treat others with kindness, respect and caring.

You shouldn't do it because it might help you in the future. You should do it merely because its the right thing to do

I think one of the big questions we should be asking is:
What is the point of a government? A society?

The biggest indicators we measure and report on are at best proxies for what matters.

We should measure:
-% of people with Healthcare
-% of people with regular food
-% with shelter

Etc.

Be kind

They are absolutely giving you tons of exposure.

Nice that they also picked such a good picture of you as well.

Nice welcome.
They will remember the people who came over with a nice gift for a long time, just don't overstay.

We're happy to have the Danes as our neighbours.

This is of course incredibly misleading.

Medical mistakes happen, obviously true.

The statistic to look at is how many peoples lived are saved because of medical intervention vs how many people die from mistakes.

Which then means that *nobody* is dying because of doctors, they save lives.

I 100% spent 15 minutes once watching a youtube video so I could learn finally put them away properly. (i.e. not just in a big ball of fabric which was my previous method...which also involved a lot of swearing...).

No.... they didn't seriously choose that song themselves did they? I.e. I'd assume someone else overlaying that audio on the clip, not it being something they chose? (Or, maybe they chose and knew full well what they were doing?)

As a Canadian, the idea that someone would not get health care is simply weird. I.e. we can't wrap our heads around the idea of having some people not be able to get it.

That is awesome!
June 5, 2025 at 10:24 PM
It is monstrous what is happening to them.
June 5, 2025 at 5:29 PM
We'll just have to disagree.

It's our job to call out racism, not pick and choose which kinds are ok.

Fighting bigotry with bigotry does not reduce bigotry.

I've lived in it my entire life in many different capacities. (Although straight myself).

I hope you and everyone here enjoys pride month, and, all the other 11 as well.

Be well.
June 4, 2025 at 3:20 AM
That's very pretty, is it ok if I use it?
(Maybe as a small graphic in some of my teams meetings, nothing commercial).

Some advice (unsolicited), do with it what you will.

We don't need to attack people while we celebrate others. Especially when tons of the people you attacked did nothing wrong.

It's also counterproductive to creating a more welcoming environment.

The world is hard, let's make it better.

With some of the news that we see daily, it's incredibly heartwarming to see someone who appears to be acting out of goodness, kindness and love.
June 1, 2025 at 4:57 AM
Yeah, it's unfortunate they had the mention of purple hair. One's physical appearance shouldn't be judged, in particular in a discussion about fighting for rights.

Communities deserve leaders who will work hard to better all the members of their community and address the biggest challenges.

Everything else is a distraction and should be ignored.

My child had an MRI last week at the children's hospital. Free.

I saw many little kidlets getting treatment, not one of their parents going broke for it. Some of them looked very sick, cannot imagine the cruelty of also worrying about bills while going through the hardest thing of your life.

It is incredibly disingenuous to call yourself a 'Dr' when giving medical advice when your doctorate is not in medicine.

It's not exactly lying, but, it's not exactly not lying either.
