I think The Academy and CBS should re-format this Sunday's show to be a LIVE TELETHON to raise money for Ukraine.

Who's with me?

If the UK’s immigration rules mean what they say, Trump shouldn’t even be allowed to enter the country, let alone for a state visit ….

Any psychologist or psychiatrist (or former abused spouse) will tell you that President Zelensky gave a master class today on how to deal with a malignant narcissist.

He is an amazing man. We can all learn from him.

BREAKING: Lives are on the line as the Supreme Court considers the Trump admin's plea to override court orders reinstating foreign assistance funding.

We filed a brief urging SCOTUS to reject this plea and to affirm the rule of law.

DOGE is laying off workers who have been investigating Tesla.

I would love to say we're shocked - but we're not.

It's obvious Musk's government takeover had nothing to do with cutting federal waste and everything to do with protecting his shady business practices.

We will never be a monarchy. Know that. To quote the LOTR trilogy: Gondor has no king. Gondor needs no king.

Such an important point. Movements for justice begin in steps and proceed through stumbles and successes. The key is to keep trying, in community for the cause.
None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.

Vice PresidentJD Vance brought shame upon me as a representative of me as an American citizen. Do you think it's respectful to speak rudely to someone whose country has been decimated and citizens have died at the hands of a land grabbing dictator that you fawn over?

Never have I wanted more to disappear into a good long book so that I don't have to face the daily news cycle. It is horrendous. USAID is exactly what Jesus would do

The performer of the National Anthem at the Superbowl, Jon Batiste, is one of the Kennedy Center board members Trump may have fired a couple days ago and replaced with himself. We still don’t have a list of who’s affected, I think. Bizarre spectacle.

Also noteworthy: the president is trying to fire the FEC’s Democratic chair when it is set to rule on dozens of complaints from the 2024 election — including complaints against Trump and Elon Musk (who spent almost $300M to support his campaign) and complaints Trump filed against Harris + the media
In the entire history of the bipartisan FEC, no president has ever removed a member from the opposing party without naming a successor recommended by that party’s congressional leaders. This is an extraordinary break from that history.
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

NEWS: Remaining USAID staffers are now receiving notices en masse that they're being placed on administrative leave.

Notice comes from Pete Marocco, who, via Marco Rubio (confirmed 99-0 by the Senate), has been authorized to oversee the agency.
