SCOTUS doesn't believe Section 2 is the cornerstone of the VRA’s protections against racial discrimination. Or it's a vital safeguard that ensures equal access to the ballot for all citizens. Or that it reinforces the fundamental principle that voting rights must be free from racial discrimination.
If SCOTUS overturns a key provision in the Voting Rights Act, it could cement Republican control of the House for decades.
