2/2 anything. As such, it's a good idea to have work to do while you're there. I've produced a podcast about my 2017 experience but will do another in my next season of The Versatile Writer podcast. 🙂

Absolutely! Happy to share my experiences of my library residency via email (some good some not so tho) [email protected] to take it off here 😉. Worth remembering that this kind of residency is voluntary and that *can* mean people don't view it as valuable as they're not paying for 1/2

I have, yes. I'm the same but for some reason when you have your head down & are working, people see that as a time to approach. 😂 It's fine though as it's why I'm here today. Also the sign on the table draws interest so gives ppl a way in. I've tried a few different methods, happy to discuss w/you

Thanks for the question, Annalisa. I have had a few people over the two months. There's a sign on the cafe door, another by the tills, and one on my table. Heaps of marketing beforehand too. People tend to approach me. I did something similar in 2017 with a library. 🙂📚 It's a bit hit & miss though.
