Never heard of her. She sounds like a real piece of work.

Thrilled to see the recall process finally starting! Unfortunately, I live in a UCP stronghold, so it would be pointless to do it here.

Man, remember when we all thought that Stephen Harper had no personality? He seems downright charismatic compared to Poilievre.

You know what isn't manly?

Being so fucking insecure that you're constantly worrying about whether others think you're manly.

This is little more than the male version of what the beauty industry has been doing to women for centuries.

I'd wager that the real numbers haven't changed. However the older generations who were raised to be ashamed of their sexuality are dying off, and the newer generations are raised to embrace themselves for who they are.

Alberta Resistance is organizing an event to get the ball rolling on some recalls in key jurisdictions. I think we only need a few successful recalls to hand the NDP a majority.

She shouldn't only resign, she should call an election. She's most certainly not the only one in the UCP with dirt on their hands.

Unfortunately, the Maple MAGA have a strong foothold in Canada, and especially Alberta.

I was on a cruise back in the spring. The rudest passengers were ALWAYS Americans.
January 12, 2025 at 11:57 PM
To be fair, it is the gravest insult.
January 12, 2025 at 11:50 PM
The Maple MAGA already have a strong foothold here, and they're actively trying to bring American style politics to Canada.

They'll probably win the next election this fall, and they're already destroying everything good here in Alberta.

Everybody deals with difficult situations differently.

Some of us, myself included, use humour.

When the choice is to sit around despairing in misery, or laughing, I choose laughter.

You do what's best for you.

As a Canadian, I thought it was hilarious.

She's a traitor, and so is he.
January 12, 2025 at 11:03 PM
Because he Khan.

They'll usurp anything that they think will advance their agenda.

As for 2025, I wouldn't be so sure about that, either. Grain-free/keto was a small movement, mostly adopted by left-leaning individuals until about 10 years ago, when the right-wingers latched onto it, and now it's almost exclusively the MAGA types who adopt it.

Only because veganism didn't exist back then. The word doesn't even show up in literature until 1962.
January 12, 2025 at 10:59 PM
Hitler would strongly disagree.
January 12, 2025 at 7:53 PM
As an Albertan, that picture makes me fucking sick.

I fully understand the importance of libraries, however I'm a slow reader. It's far less stressful for me to just buy the book, so I can read it at my own pace, without racking up late fees from continually forgetting to renew it, and without worrying that I'm taking too long someone else is waiting
January 12, 2025 at 7:32 PM
I'm constantly surprised by how many people do not possess even a rudimentary understanding of humour or sarcasm.
