A 60-year-old driver from Toronto that police pulled over Wednesday night had been using a suspended licence for four decades.

Hoostra just doesn't get it, or pretends not to. When the US once again has a new president who truly respects Canadian sovereignty then perhaps we will not longer in be "in" a trade war. In the meantime, don't expect Canadians to not stay "on guard". www.thestar.com/news/canada/...
U.S. ambassador to Canada disappointed by ‘anti-American’ rhetoric, ‘elbows up’
Canada would not have what Ambassador Pete Hoekstra described as the best tariff rate in the world if, he said, the two countries were actually in a trade war.

The Oslo Accords have been steadily unravelling for 3 decades. Yet they are the best plan to date for lasting peace in the Middle East. Recognizing Palestine might not lead to peace. However, rewarding the behaviour of Israeli PMs that came after Yizhak Rabin will not lead to a just peace. Micah 6:8

I have a lot of trouble understanding why Kevin O'Leary wants to retain Canadian citizenship. He seems to want to spend a lot of his time in the US while dreaming about some other country that will never exist. I look forward to living in a Canada that will be more independent of the US.

My Canadian Flag Day project. On February 15, 1965, Canada's new flag was raised for the first time on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Looking forward to flying it for another 60 years.

In a TV panel on Tuesday, and I joked that Canada's promised "24/7 eyes on the border" should be some hockey sticks with googly eyes jammed in a snowbank.
Aaron and his mom KJ, in Winnipeg, liked the idea, so they made us some truly amazing border sentries. I hope Mr. Trump feels more secure now.

While working in the Canadian space industry, I've visited the European Space Agency's technical centre in Noordwijk (The Netherlands). The Canadian flag is already flying there as a result of Canada's long-standing participation.
