Just reread the whole thread and I am missing the part where you say that he didn't evade the question. I just see me saying that he didn't, you disagreeing and then insinuating that it's "telling" that I would think a Jewish state and a state for the Jewish ethnicity were the same.

The actual conservative position is that hating gay people is normal and natural and therefore any attempt to teach children not to hate gay people is abusive indoctrination.
