Kristy always had great insurance provided to us through her work, after the last company she worked for folded she can't find work because she didn't finish college. I guess over 30 fucking years of actual work experience doesn't mean shit anymore.

I have a childhood friend that works for a major phone company, they went in for new contract talks and were told that they could either have raises or pay for their health insurance. Fucking companies using health care as leverage in union contracts should be fucking illegal.

I make way too much for assistance on health care and nowhere near enough to afford any decent coverage. With "good" insurance when my colon ruptured and I needed 2 surgeries it still cost us over 80 grand out of pocket.

It was BCBS and it covered damn near everything but dental. They raised our rate and we couldn't afford 36 grand a year for health insurance.

The last health insurance we had covered them, we were paying over $2,200 a month for coverage.
