I've always liked that they used the same set, making it seem like Gremlins and BttF take place in the same fictional town.
And then the way Dante shot Gremlins was to make it seem like a dark version of "It's A Wonderful Life." It's like they all exist in the same universe.

At first I thought we were turntable twinsies but then I checked and saw I have the SL-BD27. They look almost exactly the same!
